The situation

A founder running 17 entities across building, land, energy and hospitality needed one view: what changed this week, what it does to cash and what he needs to decide. The numbers lived in several systems and across three bookkeeping teams, and no single view existed.

What I built

One screen per week. Every project on one line with plan, actual and forecast, an exit horizon by year and the cash consequence of each change. Underneath it, a control page with the seven Monday inputs that drive the numbers, a reconciliation list for what does not tie and a field action list for the operating teams. A four page PDF board pack for people who read on paper. House rules: a TL;DR at the top, blanks shown as "TBA" and never estimated, and only figures that reconcile.

What changed

The owner opens one screen instead of nine tabs. The finance team works from one register of 43 project lines instead of rebuilding the view each month. The first cut surfaced 16 reconciliation exceptions and 147 open field actions. It runs weekly and was handed to the finance lead as its owner.
